2011/2012 School Calendar Year

The 2011/2012 voting for the Texas History Teacher of the Year award is now open! Any 7th grade teacher from the Montgomery County area is eligible to be nominated and receive the award.

Thank you for considering your teacher or peer for this annual award. The LSSRT firmly believes our teachers decide the future and fate of our State. Teachers work very hard for the community, teaching our children information that is vital to our society. They instruct, coach, and mentor our kids producing active, honest, and knowledgeable citizens of our State and Country. Every year, studies show our teachers spend more and more right out of their own pocket to teach. It is time we helped them. Help a Teacher whenever you can!

**If you do not see your teachers name, it is because they have not signed up to be eligible for the award. Any Texas history teacher in Montgomery County can sign up by simply sending approval to info@lonestarsrt.org and request to be included.
